Enter a world of huge snakes, boggle eyed chameleons, impressive iguanas, freaky looking frogs, massive snails, armoured turtles and tortoises and huge insects.
Above your head march an army of leaf cutter ants harvesting leaves that are composted to grow the special type of fungus that keeps the colony alive. Find out all about poison dart frogs and how they are used to create poisonous arrows for South American hunters or discover how a Hermit Crab swops homes as he grows. There’s so much to see and learn!
We will be hosting handling sessions throughout the day that will delight and amaze children and adults alike.
